Listverse.com is an interesting website. If you like writing interesting, weird and strange ''lists'', you should submit them to this website. If they like your list, they'll pay you $100 via PayPal.
These lists must be original and they must contain 10 items. They should be at least 1800 words. You should list the sources that verify the facts that you're writing about, and they accept neither Wikipedia nor HuffingtonPost as resources.
I like Listverse because your work can be read by literally millions of people and you'll be credited for it! You can even put this on your CV if you apply to other writing websites.
So if you're really into writing, find some bizarre facts and make a list out of them! If you want more information, read Listverse Author's Guide.

Has anyone here ever tried sending a list to Listverse? Share your experiences!

I actually heard about this website earlier but was never Interested in it as these websites are very strict. They pay well but their strictness level is too much.

This is interesting. I'm tempted to check this out but this is no walk in the park . $100 is definitely worth the rules and guidelines. Sourcing this kind of information and putting into writing is the real work.

This surely is a legit site, however, I never joined this site because if high payment threshold. It is difficult to reach the payment threshold when you need to make $100 to get paid. It is not easy to reach such a high payment threshold.

I heard about this site sometimes back and I really got interested as you have to write a list of ten items. I even created an account in the site but I have posted any list yet. The list should be very unique and interesting which I find so hard to make.

I registered on the site when I read about it on beer money forum but it was not available for all countries as at then but i am not sure if there are new changes now. It requires a lot of work to write in an excellent manner on that site.

If they are paying a lot of money for a single article, their requirement is also very high. They will never approve articles from general writers. They need specialists. Unless you have exceptional writing skills, I suggest you never try these high paying sites. You will fail million times.

The moment I tried it and I was rejected almost immediately, I knew the site will be a selective one. I have not tried any article writing sites since them cos the time is not there.

But why they rejected you? Don't they allow members outside Top tier nations or they didn't like the quality you shared with them?

If they are paying $100-$250 per article, forget that you can get published and make money from this site. You need to be a high quality writer to write on the site like listverse. If you have that quality, you would not be posting on forums. I might sound harsh, but this is the truth

Agreed. High paying site wants high quality writers. I am writing in English as a second language and I do not have the best language skills. Therefore, it is obvious that I am not a high quality writer. Why should I try when the rejection chance is already very high

The thing about listverse is that they require high quality more than 1000 words for the article. They prefer article that has some sort of list. And also they pay you 500$ for the article if it is good enough. In some case the article can get 100$. Depending on the quality. Not something I'd be attempting in near future. But the amount of money and the time it takes for that type of the payout, you can guess it can be a good website for those professional copywriters and writers who can write buzzfeed like articles.
