When you run a blog, one of your biggest goals is to get as many people to see your blog as possible. Here are some ways to increase the amount of organic traffic that your blog will be getting. If you are not looking for organic traffic ideas for your blog, then maybe this post is not for you, otherwise, please keep reading and learning.

Develop a Social Media Presence

You can develop a strong social media presence when you want to draw in more organic traffic. You will want to provide your audience on social media with good reasons to visit your blog. Post often on your social media account and be sure to engage with your audience so that they will have good reason to visit your blog.

Article Marketing

You can take part in article marketing to draw in organic traffic to your blog. You can submit articles to article directories so that other people will be able to share your articles that will have a link back to your blog. It is that simple to gain more organic traffic. Just be sure that you are creating as high of quality articles for article marketing as you do for your blog posts. We feel that is always best if you post your best article on your own blog, then sub-par readable articles on other sites related to your niche.

Guest Posts

Guest posts are another way to get more traffic to your blog. You can find high profile people in your niche to make a guest post on your blog which should draw in more readers to your blog. You should also see about guest posting opportunities on other people's blogs so that you can continue to gain more readers to your own blog.

This is just the start of the things that you can do to draw more organic traffic to your blog. You want to learn all that you can about the proper ways to gain organic traffic to your blog as it is one of the best things that you can do in order to be a successful blog owner.

As a blog owner, if you are not actively present on social media, how then do you want other people to take interest in your blog and generate traffic to your site? It doesn't work like that. If you need organic traffic, then you just must work for it and you have to do this by posting high quality content often on your blog in order to have something that would attract reader to your blog and have them keep coming back for more. You can also make use of influencers to promote your blog and have more people visiting your site but the most important thing in my opinion to do for generating organic traffic is constant posting on your blog.

That would apply to just about any type of website. Google and people like to see current posts, so if you have a blog or some other website, and your last post was done sometime last year, then google and traffic may not have a whole lot of confidence that you are updating your site, and if people think the owner has left the building, then it will not be long before they end up leaving also, so it is very important to keep the site as active as possible.

Correct me if I am wrong, organic traffic means traffic from search engines, When people land on your website through search engines, you are getting organic traffic. SEO is the proper way to build organic traffic. Anothee way to get organic traffic is through search engine marketing.

I always put much emphasis on ensuring that search engines find my content. This I do by making sure that my content is well optimised, internally linked and keywords used where they are necessary. This has kept me moving forward and going sending me traffic of up to 98%. I really love organic traffic since it has good positive effects.

Traffic can be classified according to the source. For instance, if you receive traffic from search engines, it is organic traffic. If you receive traffic from social media it is social media traffic or referral traffic. If you receive traffic from other sources like backlinks, marketing email etc. it is direct traffic.

My organic traffic is just about 30 percent. I have more social traffic than organic traffic. In the past few months, I am trying to increase my search traffic by doing on page seo and off page seo, however, seo does not give you instant result. I am even contemplating on search engine marketing.

Social Media Presence - Sharing articles and blog posts to your profile is good but joining Facebook groups and sharing is even better because often the groups have far more members than you will likely ever have in your social network. I have found that sharing via Twitter, Tumblr, Pinterest, LinkedIn and Facebook develops great social signals. Google Plus can no longer be included since that network will be closing down some time in 2019.

Article Marketing - I have not had much success with articles directories but I do have one of my blogs in a blog directory.

Guest Posts - I have allowed others to submit Guest Posts at my blogs. But only once was I invited to publish a Guest Post. It was about how one can earn from writing for revenue-sharing sites. The blog publisher was very pleased with my post. Of course, shortly after I wrote that great post, a few of the sites I mentioned in the post shut down. LOL. So much for opportunity!

It's my understanding that the reason these 3 methods can drive organic traffic is because links shared via social media, directories, and guest posts are indexed and the links will likely end up in the search engine results when someone does a general or generic search.

@cmoneyspinner the tips you have mentioned are good for generating traffic in general, none of these strategies will bring organic traffic. Traffic can be divided according to their sources
Organic traffic: the traffic that originates through Google, Bing, Yahoo, Baidu, Duck Duck Go, Yandex and other search engines
Social traffic: the traffic that originates through facebook, twitter, libkedin, Pinterest, Reddit and other social sites
Difrect Traffic: The traffic from the email marketing link directories, article directories, emails, newsletters etc.
