One of my favorite ways is through Social Media it's a great sector to promote your affiliate links both Affiliates and Business Owners can use Social Media, it's easy, free, and a good source of traffic and it's still posting tremendous growth yearly like Facebook. You could use it to promote your websites, blogs and even yourself while posting affiliate links or inviting target audience to sign up and become an Affiliate.

True. I just joined affiliate marketing a few days ago and I'm still trying to learn and search some techniques online. I also joined a forum which members are allowed to post advertisements for CAD$0.05 per 1000 views. Though I haven't seen any progress yet and I know it's not that easy to earn in affiliate marketing or even with any other paying sites. If somebody would promise you easy money, it's probably a scam. I know that it needs a lot of patience and hard work.

Sure, there is no easy path to making money online these days, back in the day when Google was just a baby and did not know any better, webmasters could cheat their way to top rankings in no time, however, Google has been cracking down over the last few years, and it is becoming tougher, and tougher trying to make any money on the internet. You will have to do your research, and see what may be working for others, then try to do something similar, but still, success will not be overnight and will take dedication, hard work, and sometimes even money.

Trick to becoming a good affiliate marketer is to sell a handful of high demand products. Always make sure you do enough research on the products you are trying to sell cause the probability of you making great sales on low demand products no matter how hard you try, are very low.

At one time I did not know a site that sold niche sites, and that is how this guy makes his money, all you have to do is see what topics he is building his sites as he has already done the grunt work, for instance, he created an Amazon site on lawnmowers, which is not a bad niche, and most people that own their property do need a lawn mower, however, even though it is not a bad niche, it is certainly a seasonal niche, so you want to make sure whatever niche you are going to jump into will be one of those ever green niches, which means that there is a need, and people buy year round, and there are tons of ever-green niches out there, and all you have to do is proper research on finding them.

Being an affiliate is basically using your own marketing strategies to promote sales and earn from those sales. Knowing this, you have to understand that many people are attracted by the thought of earning from other people's efforts. Come to think of it, this applies to pyramid schemes as well.

In order to maximize your chances of getting customers, it is paramount to use very unique and very special tactics. Some of these may include:

1.Writing product reviews
This is an excellent strategy for affiliates who have their own blogs. It is not advisable though, to use WordPress as a forum to write these reviews. All you would have to do is attach a link to the product you are trying to sell.

2. Choose the right product to advertise.
This goes without saying, but you have to believe in your product. It would be absolutely absurd to try marketing sneakers when the only shoes you wear are leather boots. In the case where you want to write a review about the sneakers, you would have nothing to document.

3.Stretch the truth
People like shiny things. Don't be afraid to make the product sound better than it actually is. Just make sure it is believable enough and honestly good. This brings me to my previous point. Knowing your product will assist you in avoiding over/underselling your product. The hype must be just the right amount in order to avoid bad reviews and ruining your reputation.

4. Choosing the right forum to market the product.
Many affiliate marketers fail to make maximum sales due to poor choice of marketing media. The easy choice is not always the best. Advertising products through Facebook and Twitter is cheap, but it can get you banned from your social media. Facebook, especially has very strict filters and your links will be considered spam. Take a risk, invest in a website instead. If not, start a blog or something.

5. Use your words as a marketing tool.
When out with friends, tell them about the product(s). Show them how to get it using your link and you will surely earn.

absolutely! When most people attempt to set up an online business, then they often have no clear direction that they are going with, and they go in a direction that feels right, and that would clearly be the wrong direction to go, however, If people want to venture into setting up a business online, then planning and research needs to be at the very top of their list and to be honest, it should be their top priority of things to do first, once their game plan has been all mapped out, then they need to work on site design, keyword research, content, Offpage SEO, Onpage SEO, as running any type of online or offline business is not always cut and dry, and easy to do just by setting up a website, and alot of the important things mentioned above are simply ignored out of ignorance, simply because they are looking at dollar signs, and this often blinds most people, then they start their business for all the wrong reasons; We all want to make money, and starting your business should based on helping others.

The purpose of every business should be helping other people but many people do not realise this, or simply don't feel the same way. Of course, helping people without any profit would be simply charity ,but some businesspeople are so ruthless that without a profit they wouldn't be in the demand and supply gig. Any and all affiliates should realize that as much as they are chasing the commissions, customer satisfaction is just as important.

Sure, if you ever expect customer service from Amazon, Google, etc, then you are expecting too much, and the best you will get back is some cookie cutter automated response that only ends up providing more questions than answers, and these mega companies have turned into automated robots, and these companies today are just simply out of touch on what customer service really means, and they are certainly not getting any better.

You don't actually sell any products as an affiliate marketer but you focus on the promotion of such products with your affiliate marketing program link and expect your commissions once it's sold.

I'm pretty sure that when Amazon was starting out, customer service was a top priority. However, with company growth, and massive profits, they started letting loose and only caring about the money, which ended up affecting the customers and affiliates. A drop in profit, or when they reach a break even point, they will start to realize they are doing something wrong. But what are the chances that Amazon will experience a bad spell? I guess that ship has already sailed.

with social media and news media, then no business is too big to fail; Back in the 80s, there were social media, and going viral was almost impossible unless you made the 6'oclock news, however, news travels much faster today, and even big business is not safe from crashing and burning, not sure if you heard of Roseanne, but her show was cancelled due to obama racial remarks, and one single person managed to kill the show and put the entire cast out of work, so no, you can never be too big to fail these days, and you can come tumbling down as fast as your business was made.

The best way to do Affiliate Marketing is through YouTube and also free to use. If you choose to do affiliate marketing through the website then you need to spend more on websites and hosting to start. Also, the traffic is great on youtube.

YouTube is a great way to getting the best out of affiliate marketing because I believe that videos seems to have more lasting impressions than just words. Let's not take anything away from those who use websites for their affiliate marketing because it has equal brought success to most people who actually know what they are doing.

I think using social media is the best bet. It good to use social media because this is where we will meet a lot of people that we can advertise our link to and we can equally make them buy through our links.

I think it is really a tough job to become an affiliate marketer because it would entails a lot of skills and good strategy in promoting a certain product or services.

I think we can try to interact with a lot of people and make them aware that they can buy online and save money from that and this can help us.

There are many restrictions that you cannot share the link to your Social Networking website and cannot share publicly and that's why it has become a lot tougher to earn from it.

In the world wide web, affiliate marketing is one of the best and also one of the easiest ways to make money. Affiliate marketing is the only proven method that can make you hundreds, even thousands of dollars every month. However, more than 90 percent affiliate marketer earn nothing or does not make substantial money through affiliate marketing.
